On my earlier post, I shared a new file that my kiddos loved. Below you will find a new one that is not included in this file for you to try out this Christmas. If you like it, check out the complete set for the year. There are 4 actual pages in this activity.. Count the lights 10-20.

Who knew something so simple could be such a hit? I started this activity with the turkey sight word hunt. We used it during our Special Person's Day. I originally used it for the kiddos that were stuck in the classroom with no "special person" to take them around school. However, it quickly turned into all the students not wanting to leave the classroom and their special person helping them "hunt" for the words. The next year I created a Boo Number Hunt game, using the same idea of searching the room. I put this activity out as a rotation/center for our Halloween party. Once again it was a HUGE hit. The kiddos didn't even want to decorate cookies until they had completed the scavenger hunt. My mind was blown!!! Needless to say, 2 years later I finally finished a scavenger hunt activity to go with each season. These can absolutely be used as a learning center, write the room, or for a fun scavenger hunt activity at your holiday celebrations. I have no doubt your students will love it as much as mine do every single time. Included are activities to practice with sight words, counting and number recognition. As I get time, I will be adding more activities. Any ideas? Send me a message and I will create it for you. For a fun twist I attached some of the scavenger hunt cards to myself. It was a blast when they started to realize a few of the words/numbers they couldn't find were moving about the room and attached to their teacher.
